There were a lot of very last minute things that came up which at first stressed me out (even as late as three days before closing) but literally every friend I spoken to about it said that was entirely normal for a home purchase. The rates through Veterans United were lower than my bank and the website used as a buyer was simple to navigate which made things much easier than I would have thought. There are a lot more hoops to jump through with a VA loan than conventional mortgage and I really feel Leah made the process as painless as possible.
