Great company supporting us!!

The whole process was painless for me thanks a million, until next Semper Fi......

Top notch organization!!! I higher recommend to any veteran.

Veteran’s United is a great company to work with when getting a home loan by veterans. They know about all the paperwork that Veteran’s have and the parts of it that we needed to give copies of and it was very easy for me to upload the required copies to Veteran’s United.

Veterans United made this such an easy process and worked hard to see that we got the best rate possible.

Stayed very connect every step and provided every answer and guidance to my questions.

Brad was great. He responded quickly and kept me in the loop at the beginning. The back end of the process was frustrating. I didn’t hear from a processor or underwriter the entire time and was not told upfront that the process could take 60-90 days. My rate was locked without speaking to me first verbally, then I was called after to make sure it was ok basically. Furthermore the rate was extended over and over after 45 days. Luckily we didn’t have a fee, but I was not notified when disclosures were sent except by the automatic email. Upfront explanations of disclosures and an acknowledgment that it was going to take several months would have been ideal. No one went over the CD with me at all. Brad was super helpful but after entering processing it was a guessing game. I was told it was a processor change error then title. I had all of my documents in day one and signed all disclosures day one. I the communication from Veteran’s United as a whole was lacking. Brad should not be judged on this survey, everyone on the back end should. Overall it was fine. I like my rate and am happy it finally closed and I’m off the guessing game rollercoaster.

I have used VU to by two homes, and each time was smooth to the end. Bill and his team have always done their best and have been on time, on target, every time.

Great place to do business with. Nary a glitch! If my Mom & Dad were here buying a home
I would say go to Veterans United. Best of luck to all who served.Bob and Diane D.

For someone with a high 700 sometimes low 800 credit score the underwriting process took ridiculously too long and there was not enough feedback about process while it was unfolding.
Response from Veterans United
Randolph, thank you for taking the time to share your voice with us. Our Client Advocate team is here for you to help ensure an outstanding customer service experience, and we invite you to connect with us further. We understand that the underwriting process did not meet your expectations. The mortgage process can certainly feel intrusive, but we want to reassure you that this in-depth analysis is a worthwhile step. The underwriting process serves to protect the integrity of our industry and families who might otherwise fall into financial hardship. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
