The appraiser forgot to include an out building in the appraisal. He then attached the wrong deed to the appraisal. Because of his mistakes and not caring about the chaos the delays from his mistakes caused, our closing had to be delayed. Imagine having movers lined up for two days, having to be out of your old home and not able to get into the new one. Our amazing realtor helped and so did our loan officer, and we are grateful. But this appraiser shouldn’t be given work by the VA anymore.

I don’t recommend veterans to use Drobenko’s investment (builder in Alaska) and his broker Elena Norvisk, They don’t warrant the house and don’t keep their promises. We found some things damaged and were told that’s your problem now.

Our experience with Veterans United was great! They helped us get our credit up to the right place and then found the real estate agent that was awesome and then had the loan process completely open and easy to follow and clear checklists to make sure it was approved when it came time. The process was smooth and even when we had to issues to deal with the team came together and got it taken care of. I cannot express enough how grateful we are for all their hard work. I would recommend using VU to any of my friends and family in good conscience and know they are in good hands. My wife and I are literally jumping for joy in our new house!!! Thank you so much Veterans United. We had a Greta experience with VU as a whole but the best part was our personal loan officer and his team, mainly Jerry and Taylor.
I honestly cannot give enough praise to Jerry and his help getting my wife and I into our dream house. This is our first home and had no clue what to expect but from the very first time I talked with Jerry he laid everything out so we knew what to expect. Usually the anxiousness of not knowing is what causes stress and I can say that our stress level stayed pretty even and relaxed during the entire loan process. Aside from a few last minute issues that were promptly taken care of, getting into our new home was relatively painless and I whole heartedly feel that Jerry and his teammate Taylor made it happen. We were in contact almost daily keeping things in line and making sure we all were on the same page. I am so grateful for them both. If you are going to buy a house and use Veterans United I would tell you to personally request Jerry. I am actually going to miss talking with him as we had some good laughs this last 8 months. The process of buying a house is daunting and seems almost insurmountable but with their help we did it and now are so happy in our home! If I could give them a 10 stars out of 5 I would. So, happy house hunting and if you get Jerry, thank your lucky stars cuz you will be in a house for sure!
