Initially, I had a rough experience with the person who pre-qualified me but the loan team more than made up for that. I'd say the only advice I'd give for that person is to take the time to listen to the needs of the Veteran, and cater to his or her lack of experience in home buying. I know in my industry, I have to listen to my customers and understand where they're getting their basic knowledge from, then gently guide them to the right answers. That's allowed me to improve customer experience and satisfaction in every business I've managed. As far as the loan team goes, don't change anything! It works, it's not broken so don't fix it. Good luck to you and all the best,Respectfully,Don Novak

They made my home buying experience easy. They were very specific in the the information needed to make sure i was able to make it through the underwriting process. I would definitely recommend.

First time home buyer with a lot of anxiety over the process of buying a home. My brother recommended Veterans United because they listened to his concerns and made the process of home buying as stress free as possible. Best advice I have taken from him.I would recommend any veteran or active duty military member entering the home market to give VU the opportunity to make your dream of homeownership a reality.

We were not able to close until a week past our contractual date due to the inebt underwriter
Response from Veterans United
Marck, We understand that the underwriting process did not meet your expectations. The mortgage process can certainly feel intrusive, but we want to reassure you that this in-depth analysis is a worthwhile step. The underwriting process serves to protect the integrity of our industry and families who might otherwise fall into financial hardship. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Thank you for your service and thank you for choosing Veterans United.

Alex was great! On top of his game and have already recommended him to a close friend. 35 day Close with no problems. Thank you!

From start to finish things moved very smooth. Nick would text from time to time to help keep both of us up to date as the search for a home is time consuming. When it was time for the documents he would answer any question that came to mind. The staff at veterans United kept us informed every step of the way and willing to help if there were any questions in the process. Buying a home is complex but they boiled it down in simple terms so we could understand what was next and what we needed to do to make this home purchase A reality.

I looked into another highly reputable agency before ultimately going with VUHL and while they were attentive and treated me well, they didn't have nearly as much knowledge about VA loans. In comparoson, VUHL was able to do more and get me more as a prospective buyer. While I would never discourage anyone from shopping around in the name of making an informed decision, I would strongly urge any VA loan elligible persons to give VUHL a try- just like their name says, it's what they do; so they know their stuff!

The entire process of working with Veterans United was exceptional. The website provides great information on what you need to get ready for the homebuying process and what you will need to gather, and really every step of the way.
It was easy working with Shane, Dennis, and Gabe. Just get them the documents that they need in a speedy fashion. My real estate agent Christina was amazing. I highly recommend this team and company.
