I can't recommend Veterans United as a VA lender in a sellers' market. It's clear that they've made efforts to streamline the very difficult process of meeting VA requirements, but in our experience, their underwriting department several times failed to bring issues to our attention until just prior to closing - each time resulting in our having to beg an angry seller to extend the closing date rather than allowing the deal go out-of-contract and select from the many other bids she'd received.

I never used my VA before because they could never beat the conventional rate. This was not the case here. Veterans United was the lowest rate I could find, also, if you are a disabled veteran you may be entitled to other benefits depending on your rating.

If this is your first time buying a home or even refinancing, VU is the way to go. They took all the worry and anxiety out of the process by keeping me up to date and informed. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

The rest of the personnel that help is amazing. Is the first time I had a concierge to help me with all the moving things from cable TV all the way to my new utilities.
