As a first time home buyer my experience was nothing short of exemplary with Veteran's United. They showed a great deal of flexibility to accommodate my non-traditional work schedule. Information was almost always readily available and If I had any questions, they were satisfactorily addressed in a timely manned. Having an appreciation for all the background work that takes place, Veteran's United have certainly made the experience Tolerable.
It was a pleasant and pain free experience. I guess my only slight complaint was the length of time (it seemed very long) to get an appraisal for the property. But in general super happy with Rett and his team.
Don’t use them unless you absolutely have no other option. They are slow, inefficient, and have terrible communication. They can do this because they do so many VA loans they can afford to lose customers. I used USAA in the past and had a much better experience with them.

Veterans United responded quickly to my loan request. The loan process was simplified with the 'To Do' list. The loan officer helped clarify my questions through out the loan process and they made it simple to upload all the files online. They tell you what forms you need and it was easy to upload them through their website. The best thing about doing everything online was that I could work on the paperwork whenever I wanted. I was offered a great interest rate and at the end of it all I get my first home.
