This process was nothing but wonderful. Our loan officer and coordinator was stellar and had great communication and was able to get us to close a week earlier than expected. We also arrived to our home and our son had the most awesome package waiting for hin due to the Veterans United team actually treating us like we were a friend rather than a number.

Instead of dealing with a realtor and loan officer, we had 5 different people calling which became very overwhelming really quick.
Lindsey and the entire VU team were supportive, responsive and amazing throughout our entire buying process - start to finish!
I want to personally thank Dustin Johnson for everything he did during my home buying process. Rotation was quick to respond to any questions I had. He was patient while walking me through every step of the process to ensure I not only understood what needed to be done, but also explained the importance and reasoning behind every step. If it wasn’t for Dustin, I would have been completely lost during my home buying process. Dustin was able to take so much weight and stress off of my shoulders. If it wasn’t for him working tirelessly, my family and I wouldn’t have been able to have a home to move into after starting the process and closing on a home 3 weeks later.
Overall, the loan process itself was relatively smooth and straightforward. Most steps were handled efficiently, and the application process was easy to navigate.However, our experience with the assigned loan coordinator, Samantha Villaire, was extremely frustrating and ultimately the most challenging part of the entire process. Communication was consistently lacking, with long periods of no response and little to no guidance when we had questions or needed clarification. This left us feeling uncertain and unsupported throughout much of the loan timeline.The lack of communication became especially concerning as we approached closing. From start to finish, we were never given a clear understanding of where we stood in the process, and we did not receive meaningful updates until the day before we were cleared to close.Fortunately, another loan officer, Emily Hunkins, stepped in during the final stage while our original loan officer was on vacation. Her responsiveness and willingness to help made a significant difference and ultimately helped us get across the finish line.While the overall loan process was manageable, the communication issues we experienced with the loan coordinator made what should have been a straightforward experience far more stressful than necessary.

Pleasant to deal with and easy process
The process was quick, easy, and painless. My loan officer walked me through every step and explained it to me, Barney style. She linked me with every service I would need, which made the process very easy. She helped me through everything that came up. I recommend 10/10!
