I would and have already recommended Tony's team to a couple of other veterans. Tony will always have the veteran's back and tells it like it is. He lays out the process and choices that you need to make. Ultimately, you have to make decisions on what to do moving forward through the process. If you have questions about the process, ask him. Don't leave yourself in the dark because you didn't ask questions. Tony will always get back to you with an answer within a reasonable time. Nathan and his team, especially Alyssa made this process absolutely stress free. They were super responsive to questions and the technology they use made everything easy. The concierge service even suggested a Realtor, who I worked with and was great. The personalized gifts were a nice touch also. I am happy to refer to anyone looking to purchase a home.
The process was minutia overload. While I realize it may be "industry standard," requiring THREE employment confirmations from the employer was annoying to them and to us.

Veterans United provided us with an awesome home buying experience. I was not planning on buying a house in California, but with the interest rate dropping as low as it did and being a veteran and qualifying for a VA Loan, I felt there was no better time, so I decided to look and see what was out there. Veterans United had approached me 4 years ago, so I reached out to them and the rest became history. We started the process in October with a gentleman named Nathan Jackson. He explained most of the process to us, and what he didn't explain was educationaly spelled out on helpful videos that my wife and I watched. Veterans United lined us up with a real estate agent - the first wasn't a good fit, but they immediately lined us up with another one, which helped us achieve our dream home - all before Christmas. We were told by family and friends that buying a house was stressful - actually, it was a pleasant experience thanks to Nathan and his team and the help of our Real Estate Agent, which was referred to us by Veterans United. If we ever decided to buy another home, we will be using Nathan again!
My previous lender was trying to get me to do an IRRL when I told them I wanted to do a cash out because ‘it was easier’ to do. VU and My Loan Specialist Nani gave me options and then options to the options - allowing me to ask questions and choose a path each time. The online status via the heads up display was super easy to work with. All in all, it took us 3 1/2 weeks to do what took my previous lender months to do (and obviously they never finished) so I’m now a member and believer in the Veterans United team. We refinanced for a full 1.5% better than my old rate, paid off almost 40k in credit card debt, paid off both my car and Jeep, and still decreased my mortgage payment by $300/month. This has been a great weight lift off my shoulders and sort of a present for my wife and I. Thanks again!
