This is my second house I’ve purchased and the first I’ve purchased with Veterans United. I would say this process was hands down the easiest and the most personal. Billy and his team were great.Every time I called Veterans United they responded immediately. They even gave me a lower rate after the rates fell and that was awesome. A slightly lower rate saved me over 20k for the entire term if my loanI know there are many Banks out there but none are as personal and helpful as veterans United.
I was not even sure if I qualified for a VA loan. I had never tried to use a VA loan in my past, so I wasn't sure what to expect. After a quick phone call with a Veterans United, I realized it was a very good possibility. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. Thanks to the help from Veterans United, I was able to refinance my home, get a much lower interest rate and with no closing cost to me. This has helped me and my family improve our finances in many ways. I would highly recommend Veterans United to anyone looking to buy or refinance a home.

Terry and his team did an outstanding job servicing my loan. They were professional, and understanding of my naiveté regarding the steps involved in buying a home making sure I understood everything as we went through the process. Checking my eligibility and getting me preapproved was simple and quick—even when I needed a larger preapproved amount.The one thing that impressed me was the speed at which Terry and his team accomplished things. From initial application to preapproval, it took only minutes to complete. Of course, the other steps in obtaining the loan took a bit longer but during the whole time, they were communicative about where I was in the mortgage process and accessible when I had questions. The checklists they provided were extremely helpful in keeping me on point as most of the time they were waiting on my response so that they could move forward with funding my loan.Whether this is your tenth or first time buying a house I would highly recommend using Veterans United as your mortgage source. I guess the highest recommendation I can make is to say that when the time comes to refinance or buy a different I home I plan to use them again.

Based on my experience, Veterans United was amazing but I would most likely choose my own realtor instead of using a Veterans United assigned realtor. The little bit of money you get at closing for using their realtor is not worth it.
