Caleb was amazing! If I could rate him higher, I would. The communication was always there. When I needed a question answered, he was always available. My interest rate was well work it. The process was quicker than I expected.
Even for first time home buyers, the Veterans United family helped make our home buying experience education and pain free. We learned a lot along the way and were well taken care of by everyone. Would definitely recommend to others.

Veterans United Home Loans has an impressive online set up facilitating secure communication and file sharing with loan officers. Their communication style was perfect for us. The loan officer and processor would upload actions into the platform and then email us and text us to let us know that they needed docs, comments, etc. This made it very easy to stay on top of things and keep the file moving along in a timely manner. We also felt that their systemized process reinforced true accountability on both ends and minimized mistakes, which is really helpful when you have as many moving pieces as you do when buying a home or refinancing
From the first phone call until my refi was finalized the entire process was painless. Veterans United both saved me money on the cost of the process, and my percentage rate. Lowered my monthly mortgage about $200.

The staff are professional and great customer service. Unfortunately, not much else went well. I was over charged for my appraisal, they didn't have anyone in our county SO, I had to pay $250 more to get a person from another county. THAT IS NOT MY FAULT, what a rip off. I understand underwriting would need additional info, however they asked for the same docs over and over, termite inspection, the invoice stated two detached building, but they wanted detail about the building??? What? the company provided invoice that wasn't good enough. The poor guy had to send a detailed email before we could move forward. Bank statement, ours includes 3 accounts, checking, savings, & money market. We had to send it two times, I said, the info you want is in the bank statements already sent, but that didn't matter. I think the team is either inexperienced or they are extremly unorganized.
