Veterans United said they didnt have paperwork that was already turned in (on multiple occasions) and it caused my closing date to be pushed back. Then when I went into sign the final documents they said my husband had to physically be here to sign even though I asked about that, as he lives on the other side of the country, and they said no his name would just be listed on the documents as he isnt the one purchasing the home. My realtor had also asked them about it and they told him that they would send my husband documents to sign, but never did, so we had to push back our date again until my husband flew in. They also didn't seem to bothered by the inconvenience to me it caused.

The process took too way long I started this process in late Sept early Oct. My responses to documents needed were quick. Perhaps Covid 19 had an effect but still.
My wife's name was misspelled , The estimate on the loan was over thousand dollars different from the actual amount? I had to dig to find out why.
Like I said overall good but you can do better too. Alberto actions made me stay and not continue with PennyMac.
VU was always on the ball. Got my loan approved and closed quickly and as expected!
