I had a great experience with Veterans United, specifically Tony Theberge.
If you are in a different time zone during crunch time, it could slow the process. However, my loan team definitely worked hard to make sure my experience was a good one.
The only thing I would suggest is when someone starts the process, one of the To Do check list items should be if they telecommute. If they do, then a To Do item early on for them to provide any documentation required from HR to verify their status as a remote worker. That would prevent last minute issues with underwriting that could delay closing.
This is a good to go, and you have all you need at you door step. Am really excited I did go this route.
As stated above, I have used Veterans United before. When I decided to refinance my home, I wanted to use someone I felt comfortable with. Even though they no longer had my home loan, I felt better using Ted and his team. They are always very helpful.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my Veterans United home buying experience. Everyone that was assigned to help me was very knowledgeable, respectful and fully dedicated to help me find and close on a home. The work ethic of every member of my Veterans United team was above reproach. Thank you, all!!
The availability, professionalism, and knowledge of the staff at Veterans United makes them my go to for home purchase. The process was very easy, as there is a checklist for me to follow. Being available is what made Veterans United my choice for funding my loan, I had all my questions answered and received multiple call backs updating me of the current status of my loan. Overall, I was very satisfied with their service.
Through Veterans United, the home buying experience has always been positive. I plan on being a customer for life.
