Alix was very helpful as he is the supervisor above Tina and Brennan. Overall the experience was a 7/10. I would recommend VU because of the fast closing time (35 days compared to 45). The interface is really easy to work with. The only problem is the customer service. You can tell that the loan specialists and coordinators are really just in it for their commission.
More 1st time home buyers should know about the PenFed Foundation and its resources. and It should be illegal to offer a credit in exchange for a higher interest rate. The only option should be to buy down the interest rate, why set someone up for failure.
If you are a veteran please please give VU a call. These people genuinely care about you, and will work their butts off for you. Nothing but a wonderful experience and I couldn’t be more satisfied.

first closing was terrible. I sent her packing without finishing. Notary had no clue what she was doing. Closing was re scheduled and went off without a hitch
