The process was great the only problem was with signing the paperwork for closing. My appointment was for 4pm and noone showed up till 5:23pm people time is important especially when you have to get to work. Fix this problem and you guys would be a 10

We had not heard of Veterans United until we financed with them in 2019. When Casey Martin contacted us about refinancing, we jumped at the chance. Their use of DocuSign, the educational videos, and your emails are first rate. Their emails are extremely well written; they convey the urgency of signing, and that is my responsibility, but they are not irritating. The VU website and whole digital aspect is well-designed and simple to use. I have a trust in Veterans United similar to my level of trust in USAA.
Heather Damer is the one and only loan officer you need! Shes patient and understanding with your questions and goes over and beyond!! She made our first time home buying very smooth (considering hiccups and we had from builder backing out, 2nd house no go but the 3rd was a charm) and she helped us every single step of the way! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this lady! We look forward to doing more business with her in the future!

Information to pass on to the next veteran for helpful advice. Advise them while applying for a loan to NOT get new credit, make debts with any credit cards and don't touch anything that can affect your credit. Lesson learned.
