I would recommend Veterans United to anyone that is interested in a home loan. When I was denied by another company I thought I was out of luck. After talking to Veterans United they put me in touch with a credit specialist in their Lighthouse department. He helped to raise my credit score by over 100 points in less than 2 months. While I had a complicated divorce and needed to refinance my home; the people at Veterans United helped all along the way. Answering questions and helping me to get all of my paperwork in order and done right away.
I highly recommend working Veterans United. This is a group of people that guide you through the whole process. I started out skeptical with them and my possibility to own but have learned that this is a group that can make things work out. My circumstance was a challenge to them and the realtor they suggested but they sacrificed a lot to give me comfort and the satisfaction of owning my home. I became worried several times and thought that this was not possible nor was it going to work out. The comforting encouragement and instructing of Jon, Adam and Kyle saw me through the whole ordeal. Like I said before they sacrificed to make it happen. My suggestion to anyone who might be considering Veterans United, GO FOR IT.
These guys are awesome to work with. We had some minor problems but they were on top of it. I would go through them again if I was to buy another house. I like how they worked with on every part of buying our house. I recommend Mr. Jeff and his team to anyone. Also want to thank Mr. Nathan Yount. Thank you guys for helping me and my family on getting our new house.
This is a great benefit to assist Vets. I highly recommend using the VA program and highly recommend Jon and his team.

Veterans United offered me a good loan at an attractive interest rate for a reasonable closing price, which no other mortgage company was willing to do because of my low credit scores. I'm a Retired Officer from the USAF and the Air National Guard, but as I learned during my time in the service, it is the NCOs and Enlisted Airmen, Soldiers and Sailors that make things go and actually get the job done. Veterans United is guided by Senior Retired NCOs who know how to "get the job done!" Thanks for guiding Veterans United and creating a system that certainly got it done for me and my family.
From the beginning of getting involved with the Light House Program to the Final Closing of our home, the year plus process dealing with Veterans United was a very positive experience.
We are so pleased with the service that Veterans United provided to us for our refinance. They went out of their way to make the whole process a very good experience. Also we would like to say to anyone looking for a great company to help them with their finance needs you can not go wrong with Veterans United!
I believe Marrisa and Rebecca took care of me and answered my questions just as if I were one of their family members. Outstanding job!
My over all experience with Veterans United was very good. The only thing that they could not get right was the getting all parties to meet on a mutual closing date and I had to get two dates to close losing time in one day. In addition the final amount that had to be paid out of pocket went from $274 to $1,853.
Other that that (since no one is perfect) they were able to guide me and assist me very well.
I would recommend them to friends and family.
I was so pleased with our experience with Veterans United that I actually took the time to fill out a survey and everyone hates doing that.
These people help from step one all the way through the process. They guide you with credit problems and help you get to a point where you can move on to the loan with step by step process.
I found this to be what I needed to get my home and I'm glad I went with them.
Getting a VA loan can be good thing as long as you don't use Shane Burr assd a loan officer. From the beginning, Mr Burr, was extremely hard to contact, up to 3 days would pass before he responded to message. At one point and time his inability to communicate cost us over a $1000.00. The closer to the closing date the harder is was to get a hold of Mr. Burr. On several occasions, we were told one thing only to be told something completely different at a later date, when confronted about this, Mr Burr, denied the original statement. Almost 1 week after close and we still do not have all the paperwork that we are suppose to have. Several times we had consider quitting the loan process because of Mr. Burr. Our realtor agent was also having problems with Mr Burr.
These guys are awesome they kept me up to date and informed throughout the entire process. We ran smooth and pretty much glitch free. Great company to work with.
Thanks Brennan VanMatre and Veterans United for the excellent service with my initial loan and refinance.
The whole finance process was done in a timely fashion and all other representatives were helpful and professional as well. That included ms. Brown and I believe his name was Darren or Derik.
Request to work with Nick Hermann and Carl Thomas. They will close your deal!
