AWESOME!!! The whole process was quick and easy, including underwriting! We have both purchase home's in the past. The processing of uploading docs, electronic signatures and checking items off once completed was great!!We will be referring Veterans United Home Loans to any and all veterans!


Process took longer than 30 days to close.


Lose papers/ask for the same paperwork multiple times. I personally feel it was a little unprofessional, but other than that everything else was okay.

I would absolutely recommend Veterans United. Was a simple and pain free process from start to finish.

Difficult to get a hold of anyone in a timely manner. This proved difficult for time sensitive items. Once cleared to close it appeared getting the paperwork to the title company no longer was a priority which delayed the closing by 3 days.

We previously went through a very lengthy refinance process with another company. After several months it did not go through. We began working with VU right away and in approximately 30 days we were ready for closing. The team at VU is outstanding. I will never use another mortgage company.

Communications were very professional and responsive. Offered competitive rates after negotiation. Portal is very streamlined and efficient. Swag is a nice plus.However, if I didn't catch it we would have ended up paying a substantial extra amount of money toward costs that are non-allowable to be paid by the Veteran. Although I was able to catch this and Chris made it right, I wonder how many other Veterans are being taken advantage of through this practice. I believe it is a deceptive lending practice.Without this experience I would have said 9/10.
