I have bought houses before, with and without VA loans. The process was always the same - long, convoluted and unnerving, lost in a process never knowing what comes next or why.
Greg and his team were simply awesome! Looking to relocate; knowing the state but not where, when we found an interesting listing Greg would reach out to have a local realtor work with us, sometimes traveling long distances to provide us a video tour of the home. As we looked at more homes across the state online this happened again and again, each time painless as the first.
Once we found our home, Greg and his team; Cara, Anthony and Casey guided us thru every step of the way. Almost daily Greg our loan officer, Anthony our "Concierge" and Casey our realtor contacted us always keeping us up to date, explaining what's next and answering any questions we may have had.
From first contact to the final underwriting Greg was in constant contact, overseeing everything and making the entire process unbelievably easy.
The entire team was wonderful to work with. I felt like I was very well taken care of.
We bought our house in out family trust. It seems nobody knew or agreed on what signatures were need and we had to sign everything twice. We ended up having to sign a whole paragraph for UV while the county only need our Name, Trustee. Very annoying and time consuming for everyone involved.
Dean Crippen and Neisha were great to work with. Dean was quick to respond to any questions and almost always answered my calls. Neisha was very efficient and timely in getting all the boxes checked to get us to closing.

Poorly educated us about the process. Went through 3 officers from the time I called to closing. Loaded and signed multiple duplicate documents because of this I’m sure. The realtor couldn’t believe how unorganized this closing was. The remote notary couldn’t believe how poorly the documents were sent with no direction what so ever. Missed the closing date twice and still don’t have all the documents signed. Missing the spouse affidavit still. Several frantic emails or calls to me trying to get me to sign documents that were just uploaded minutes before. I buy and sell real estate for a living and is the 2nd VA loan I have done. This was by far the worst experience and will not recommend or be using VU again. If anyone reads this from customer service, look at the times/dates on the documents uploaded to the portal to confirm everything i have stated here.
