This was our first time buying a house and Veterans United took care of most of the work! I started out with sub-par credit, and Veterans United had one of their credit specialists work with me to get it where it needed to be, which took a couple months. It was frustrating not seeing my credit go up fast enough, but I stuck it out. From there they set us up with a real estate agent (who was great!) and from there we chose our house and the rest is history! Just make sure to always checks your page all during the day. Keep all your checks stubs and updated banking information. We also learned you can't rush the process.
