Veterans United helped me get the loan with ease on the paperwork and to do lists. I wish they would have give me advice about making sure I have an attorney to look over disclosures and made sure the inspector, seller, and Realtor didn't take advantage of me but unfortunately that's how it was and now im stuck with alot of work on a very expensive house. The loan was the easy part so I can't blame Veterans United.

While the VA appraisal process is limited to assessing a property’s value at face value, we always recommend a full home inspection and, if needed, consulting an attorney to protect your interests before closing. This was my first time buying a home. My loan servicing agent was Martin Schneider, from the beginning was kind, intelligent, and dedicating to helping me. The process started when I was stationed in Germany and wrapped up seamlessly with only 4 days before closing when I arrived at my new duty station. The entire time, Martin was available, helpful, and knowledgeable about every question and concern I had. The entire process was such an amazing experience! Michelle, Jessica and company were such a pleasure to work with.



I would recommend solely for the low interest rate . The ease of their “to do” checklist is fine but I had to do tasks generally more than once - once I figured that out I started asking for clarification before doing the task/ wondering what happened to my document or why my explanation wasn’t enough. Then they had to go back through not even realizing I had submitted anything in the first place - so that was aggravating.
Realtor- I used they’re recommendation before for a realtor but this time I cannot say they’re team was a good one. Numerous oversights and in the end they didn’t even show up to my closing- which I thought was rude but maybe they just didn’t want to see me in person due to all the issues and missteps we were having. Either way- poor people and management skills on the realtors part. I almost ended up working with the listing agent more due to trusting him more.
