My experience with veterans united was marred with errors and a lack of communication. To sum up my experience simply, I didn't close when I was suppose to because the underwriter went home for the day without sending the documents to the title company.

My first loan officer just disappeared one day and I was reassigned. No one told me about it. I had to hunt down my new officer who never introduced herself to me.The loan assistant Haley Ferguson was supposed to be my point of contact. Se NEVER replied to any emails or returned my phone call. Apparently she is out sick a lot for migraine headaches. Although I sympathize with a chronic health concern, she should probably be reassigned to a position that is not so demanding and time sensitive.Overall, I will refinance with a local lender because I felt like I didn't matter. What should have been an exciting and enjoyable experience buying my first home, became stressful and unorganized.
My husband and I have not regretted choosing Veterans United to refinance our home. This literally has been the best financing experience we have ever had. Zach and Thomas were always available to answer questions thus helping us understand the "whys" of certain aspects of the re-fi process. They listen!
