Veterans United made our home buying process so smooth and easy! We loved the online portal with the to-do list laid out in black and white, with easy e-sign documents. Our loan officer Nick Laws is the best! He was always very quickly responsive to the myriad of our first-time-buyer questions and we appreciated that he was reachable in a variety of ways. We love that he is local because he had very helpful suggestions for things like home insurance and home security. From start to finish, he was incredibly helpful and we had total trust in him and valued his advice and input greatly! He was always on top of things and gave us realistic expectations for timelines, plus let us know right away when something was needed of us. Out of all the people we worked with through our home buying experience, Nick was solidly our favorite!

Ok so I’ll give a positive 1st the starting process feels great. My loan team Madie was terrible about replying to emails and to call her was never going to happen.... Ben started off as great but than that went south fast. Many times he thought he was always right! I’m still serving and I told him that for my COE I only need a statement from my commander and he keep coming at me and saying they can’t get the certificate without my points statement. So I ended up doing all the work to get my own COE complete which most people probably would not do. So I was on the phone and sending non stop emails to get something that they get paid to do.. On closing day they send over the wrong documents to the title company so I had to wait even longer. So unless your willing to do the work your loan team should be doing I would go with someone else! They do have a nice easy portal system that would be a positive and I did get my home loan at the end.
