I understand that every home loan is unique and comes with individual challenges. Veterans United has made my home buying experience, working with a lender, as pleasant as possible. All of the paperwork requirements are done in a fairly easy way with minimal delay.
One suggestion that I might add is that some sort of accountability be considered to actually lock in a closing date at least 7 days prior to the projected closing date. This allows for easier planning for the home buyer for packing, moving truck rental, and utility shut off planning. Our experience ended with 4 days notice and 500 miles of travel and coordinating. This is a stressor that can be eliminated by possibly adding financial compensation for missed closing dates.
