Again I didn't really know what to expect, coming into this. No comparison or previous experience, but there weren't any downsides with the entire team, so the standard set here is extremely high, and I hope others can get to work with this team, and I'd be pleased to continue working with them as I continue with my new home ownership. Thank you all for everything, you've helped me comfortably move to the next phase of my life.

I worked with two amazing people at Veteran United Homes Loans Josh Schultz & Katelynn Huckabey. They did excellent job. Now I don't know if everybody can this treatment but they help me closed on my house and it didn't take 30 days. Thank you!!!

I truly have never worked alongside a loan officer that shared her personal cell phone number and answered any and all questions outside of business hours! Erinn Cline is a gem of an human and I’m truly grateful for everything she did for us! Home buying can be super stressful and ours indeed fall into that category with so many moving parts, but her kindness and expertise made the loan process easy and seamless! Thank you so much!!!

Excellent resources paired with an even more excellent team. They made the process far less worrisome than it could have been and made my first home-buying experience a breeze

Mike and the team were awesome.

Very happy with the results

Jaimie is incredible. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Veterans United has been a true Blessing for me. I never thought l would be a homeowner, but working with team l had made it a painless experience and everything flowed in a timely manner. I can’t begin to Thank everyone enough for making a dream come true. God Bless you all.

I did not like how once our offer was accepted we were passed onto another team member without a heads up after working with our loan officer for a few months. Also, I asked multiple times in the beginning what documents were required but days before closing we were needing more documents and stuff was being waited on until last minute like employment verification and I had to remind them a couple of times that we had already provided documents they were asking for. Overall it was pretty easy but organization skills definitely need improved.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Zachary,
Thanks for the honest feedback—and congrats on getting to the finish line with your home! I’m sorry we didn’t do a better job keeping you informed, especially during the transition between team members. After months of working closely with someone, I can see how frustrating it would be to suddenly be passed off without a heads up. That’s not how we want anyone to feel, especially during such an important milestone.
It also sounds like we created some unnecessary stress in the final days before closing. Last-minute document requests and repeat asks for things you've already provided? That’s not just frustrating—it makes the process feel disorganized, and I totally get why that left a sour taste.
If you’re open to sharing more, we’d love the chance to dig in and pass along your feedback to our team leaders. You can reach us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We're available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and always here to listen.
