The loan requires things that are not needed when they send the appraiser out and creates a hassle that the home owner has to a free to fix before the sale even if the things they want fixed are going to be fixed by the buyer after the sale was complete.

Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone who’s reading this review, or anyone who asks is this company for real. Being in a stressful situation and not understanding the underwriting process nor having any knowledge on what I should ask to get answers to my questions made it difficult to feel in the loop. All the staff was patient and very helpful, but a guide on what exactly you have to break down and figure out the numbers would have made the situation easier to handle. I know I was not the most polite person during this process and I apologize for that.
