Joel Deiber was absolutely incredible!! I could tell that he genuinely cared about our specific situation and that he did his very best to make sure we were happy! His referral of Jamey Richards and Kamila Lynn was greatly appreciated. They were very attentive to our wants and needs!! Both of them were honest and caring, and I personally recommend working with them and Joel for their home buying needs!
I worked with Billy Stange for most of the refinance process, and I could not have been anymore pleased with his professionalism. This was a very tedious process for me but not to any fault of VU.Billy was always available to assist. If I called and he was away from his desk or out of the office, he would always return my call at his earliest convenience. He was very patient, helpful and encouraging. I am very big on customer service and I must say Billy exceeded my expectations on the type of service he provided. I know this can be a thankless job but on behalf of my family and I, I would like to say thank you for everything you have done for us during our refinance process.

The experience was great. I was always kept in the loop. Eli my real estate agent was FANTASTIC. I always new what was going on and what was needed. Never once did I have any trouble getting a hold of him. I would recommend Eli to anyone
I normally don't do surveys unless they are exceptional. And I hardly ever leave written statements. However this is done for one reason, the overwhelming since of gratitude we have for Matthew and his team. Not only was he professional at all times, and listened to our concerns, he went above and beyond, and truly cares. For such high reviews, I expect a better experience. I waited over a month after closing to write this review to make sure my review wasnt a knee jerk reaction.Preapproval was maybe a month before we were under contract and our interest rate went up .5% which increased our mortgage almost $100/mo. Communication was poor at the end and it really ruined our first home buying experience. We missed our original closing date due to the VA appraiser and then I have no idea what the hold up was because no one communicated with us. Then, my son was admitted to the hospital enexpectedly, which I told them about, and then I got a phone call later that day telling us that closing was a going to be that day (no previous notification) and we were basically supposed to handle it ourselves without a closing agent. We won't be using Veterans United again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. We won't have anymore interactions with them anyway because they sold our loan before we even moved into our house! The only good things that came from them was that we were assigned an excellent realtor and we ultimately got the house we wanted.

This is a nerve wracking experience: there are sooooo many things happening and you are 'lucky' if you understand 50% of what you are signing. VU WILL see you through this. They encourage questions and answer in a timely manner.
