Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! The entire team was helpful through a long and drawn out home buying process, I took numerous months to find what I wanted and the team made sure I was informed and answered any questions on anything i may have been confused or misinformed about.
I'm sure home purchasing and refinancing are complicated processes to navigate. It was transparent to me because Veterans United did all of the heavy lifting so to speak. I bought a home on my own two decades ago and it turned out pretty bad. I haven't experienced any of those previous problems with Veterans United managing the process this time.
