The overall experience was good. I just think a little more communication would have been helpful once the initial closing date passed. But I appreciate your patience with me while I was waiting on my employment verification. I am pleased with the experience and would definitely recommend you.
Drennan and Nico were great. Drennan helped me from start to finish, helping me the whole way. Nico also helped me once I found my house. Both were patient with me when I had mini freak outs during the process. Both of these guys handled everything like pros and handled everything that I asked of them.

Veterans United helped me and my wife get our first condo, and the whole experience was great. They were always checking on me, had fast response times, and it genuinely felt like they wanted the best for us every step of the way. Brandon was very friendly and helpful—he searched through different home insurance options, gave moving company recommendations and price matches, and helped with internet, electric, etc. Stephanie at VU went above and beyond when I had some trouble with my credit scores—she was always checking in, processing documents quickly, and it really felt like she was rooting for us to make it to closing. Matt Landis was our go-to guy and always explained things when I didn’t understand or had questions. He’s very knowledgeable and really set the tone for all the great people there. Overall, what stood out most was the customer service—always friendly, always there, and very helpful.
Veterans United Was absolutely amazing from start to finish. When we first applied for this loan we weren’t quite there yet with our credit. Instead of being told no like we were several times in the past with other lenders, vets United Went above and Beyond and put us in contact with our credit consultant Charlie. He told us exactly what we needed to do in order to get our credit where it needed to be and within no time we were ready to talk to our loan officer! Darin was amazing And also went above and beyond to get us preapproved and helped us through the entire loan process. Morgan was our Loan coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She answered every single one of our questions on a day-to-day basis And made this entire process smooth and very stress free! Kohlie was Our concierge she was very informative and very friendly! We are very grateful for our entire loan team. Veterans United made my Husband and I feel so appreciated for his service. I would absolutely recommend veterans United to any veteran looking to buy a home! We will absolutely be passing on the word to friends! Communication and professionalism was great until the end. Our closing was delayed for a couple days, but we were not informed until the night before. I did not personally speak to Madeline, but Jay sent the following text to my client: “ it sounds like your two biggest issues are utilities starting & help moving. They will be able to easily update the effective date for your utilities if you call them. I regards to the move itself you are staying with family currently correct? So you will not be homeless or have no where to stay for the 2 extra days between Tuesday & Thursday right?”
Especially considering the number of homeless vets in the world today, this was extremely disrespectful and disappointing. I will not be recommending this lender to any of my future clients.
Second time using Veterans United, same great service as the first time. Feel free to ask them about anything related to the loan process or buying and selling a house. They are more than happy to help or direct you to someone who can.
As mentioned above in my initial write up - here is my review thank you VU for being such an outstanding company/organization. All realtors love working with you all, and most sellers that never heard of you, loved you once it was all over and deal was over and completed. Hannah Liebhart and her entire team , Lauren Sprague, Emily Gandy, Kole Berry, and others I am sure behind the scene, did an outstanding job again....what a team effort.Precise execution of loan processing, and all upstream and downstream processes.
