Chris Rohr and his team did an outstanding job of walking us through the process and preparing us to be able to put an offer in on a home. They were great. I think the app was relied upon a little too much instead of communicating directly, but it was painless and easy. I don't know who chose the title company, because I did not. But they gave an initial estimate of their charges to VU, but charged me nearly double of their estimate. Not VU's fault, but they chose them.
I would highly recommend Veterans United to any veteran or service member looking to buy a home. They put together a Dream Team that handled every detail, which made the process stress free and enabled be to close in just over 30 days. Vickie Bell was my concierge. She connected my with real estate agent Scott Jones. He negociated the best possible terms. Alberto Barba, my loan officer guided me through the process of submitting all the documents needed. Brandon Viar, the loan specialist, kept me on the straight and narrow underwriting path up to the last minute. And Shari Wooldridge helped explain the closing costs, which was really weighing on my mind throughout the process.
The team kept things moving quickly. In a month, I had the keys to my first home.
Then whole team was awesome, specially Dustin with my many phone calls and obstacles , the gifts sent for my girls , my package ! I was totally clueless about everything and these wonderful folks went above and beyond to give me a opportunity i though was impossible . ill always be grateful for the opportunity they provided. Seriously guys thank you so so much its the best feeling in the world to know I have a home for my beautiful family and it wouldn't been possible with out yal . I highly recommend each team member !
