From start to finish, Veterans United exceeded every expectation. They didn’t just help us buy a house — they helped us start the next chapter of our family’s life. Every interaction felt personal and sincere, and their whole team made sure we always felt like a priority. As a veteran, it means a lot when a company goes above and beyond to honor that service — and Veterans United truly did. I would absolutely recommend them to any fellow service member or veteran looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate team.
Alright so this is my 2nd time reviewing Veterans United, 2nd time working with Aaron McMahon’s team, and 2nd time I don’t have enough words to say how amazing they are! This team is incredible and I would recommend them to any Veteran who is looking to purchase a home. I’ve personally recommended many friends to this organization since buying my first house in 2021.When they say they are there to help you, they are THERE! They kept me up to date throughout the entire process and made everything incredibly easy on me and my family. Heck, Aaron even made himself available on a random Saturday afternoon to ensure I was able to get a bid in on the house we just closed on. I don’t believe there is another organization who cares this much about military members and their families.When I joined the Army back in 2015 my wife and I would talk about finally having our forever home. With the help of VU, and Aaron and his team we did exactly that.

From start to finish, working with Veterans United Home Loans was an incredibly positive and smooth experience. I had the pleasure of working with Matthew Perona, Matt Hudson, and Allie Poletti, and I can’t say enough great things about them. Each one of them was responsive, informative, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. They were always available to answer my questions, provide clear explanations, and follow up consistently to make sure everything was on track. Their communication was top-notch, and it really made the experience feel personal and stress-free.
There was a bit of a hiccup early on with the real estate agent, who unfortunately did not follow up with me or assist in my home search as expected which led to me having to look for homes on my own. While this was initially frustrating, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
I ended up finding an amazing home and, even more fortunately, was able to work with the sellers’ agent, Melinda Crosslin and her son Corey Crosslin. Not only did Melinda step up and act as buyer’s agent for me, but Corey really went above and beyond in every way. Melinda’s previous experience working with Veterans United gave me an added layer of confidence and reassurance, knowing I was in great hands on all sides. The level of care and professionalism she and Corey provided truly made the rest of the process a joy.
Veterans United’s reputation as a lender was clearly recognized and respected throughout the transaction, which made everything flow smoothly. I’m incredibly grateful to the team I had supporting me and would highly recommend Veterans United—especially the dream team of Matthew Perona, Matt Hudson, and Allie Poletti—to any fellow veteran looking to buy a home.

The whole process was flawless and easy! Everyone has always said the home buying process is a pain, however veterans united and their team was fantastic! Had zero issues what so ever.
I was nervous about buying a house at first. However Veterans United made it so easy. They told me what I could afford and hooked me up with a phenomenal real estate agent. I will be using Veterans united for all of my future home buying purchases.
So far the experience was a good one. Of course we just closed. Now is when you find out all the hidden stuff right? But that isn't a reflection of Veterans United. It is a reflection of the average American. Veterans United made the home buying experience an easy one.
