very helpful and take time to answer all questions. pleasure to work with.
An outstanding and professional company who “gets the job done.”
Superb service the flow of the loan process went soo smoothly! And the best part is I have a home to call my own.
Simple, easy to use format for uploading documents.
They went out of their way and sent 2 notaries, one to Georgia and one to Kansas. My wife was vacationing in Kansas.
They made everything easy to understand. If we had any questions all we had to do was call.
The team that worked with me was knowledgeable, profession and proficient during every step of the home buying process. My questions were answered without delay. If the question asked required another member of the team to respond...it was forwarded and I received a prompt response. I felt like they were working very hard to get me and my family into the home we wanted. The team made me feel I was a very important person!!!
The real question is...why is there no "11" as an option for OUTSTANDING service and experience? Veterans United was there for EVERY step of the process to help guide me through my journey and available for any and every question I had. My favorite is the "To-Do List" that lets me know what I needed to do for my part in the team. I now know why Veterans United came highly recommended as I would highly recommend them myself.Thank you Team!
VUHL are wonderful people to work with! They keep you informed throughout the whole process. They even come to your house for closing, when it's convenient for you.
The most amazing people to work with, answered all my questions in a timely manner!
Very professional, online portal makes it easy to submit documents, great experience over all.
Trish Cole was a blessing. She guided us through the whole process. Thank you
Veteran's United (VU) provided great service, however, there was a lack of communication by members of VU. I started with Joe Newberry as my loan officer initially in the beginning I then transferred to the local Fayetteville, NC branch due to not being able to get in touch with Newberry after a couple of days of silence. I was then assigned Amber Steele. Everything was going great until one day I tried to communicate with her only to find out she was no longer with the company. I then was assigned Andre Machado. Again, the same exact situation happened with him no longer working with the company. I did not receive notification that Machado was no longer with the VU local branch until after about a week of trying to contact him. I was informed by a member of Newberry's team that I was assigned back to Newberry. Everything went great until there was an issue with the appraisal for the residence we were trying to purchase. Newberry and Morgane Crane were communicating primarily with our real estate agent about why a second appraisal would not be granted. I as the home buyer would have liked to hear from my loan team what was going on first hand. Being a first time home buyer I am not sure if that is how it normally goes where the home buyer becomes the third party involved, however with the constant change of loan officers with no immediate notification made me wary in not being involved directly. After the appraisal issue was resolved a closing date was established in which Crane notified my real estate agent that we were good to move forward. However, the morning of closing, I was notified through email that we would not be able to close that day. The delay in closing was the result of the underwriting process not being complete until the day of the scheduled closing. I as the home buyer would have appreciated a phone call explaining the reason for delay as well as a notification from Crane that the underwriting process was not complete when we had originally scheduled the closing date. So after the underwriting process was complete and we were able to schedule another closing date, Crane sent us an email stating she would let us know beforehand if there was any change in the closing costs. We did not receive an email or phone call from any member of our team after the closing date was scheduled not even on the actual day of closing. Overall, the service was amazing I would just recommend an adjustment in how the VU staff communicates with potential home buyers. This is a major life changing action for most people, making customers feel as if they are of utmost importance or at minimum included throughout the process is recommended.
This is my third loan with Veterans United. Clint Hamilton and Nick Orf are simply the best. I'll never use another company for any future property purchases. Their commitment to serving veterans is unparalleled.Richard S.

Veterans United Home loans employees are very professional. I liked the way they walked me through the system and would answer my phone calls promptly whenever I had a question.
The service is outstanding.
At first I was unsure about doing a loan not face to face. Working with Eric Wessel and his team made it simple for me. They always replied to my emails and answered phone calls from me. Super helpful and made everything low stress and easy to accomplish.
Nothing but excellent service and guidance from my loan specialist.
I would extremely recommend Veterans United Home Loans, very helpful with every step of the way.
