I think leaving out a guestimation would give a better perspective of how long the process will be until a for certain date has become available. I lost a week of work due to the closing date changing 2 or 3 times. I know I am a union member and we are a bit more difficult to work with but it did aggravate me at times the need for so much paperwork. I would rather do it the right way then possibly losing out of my loan through the Veterans Home Loan Ass. but if some more care and thought could be taken towards union workers I believe you would find more veterans in unions would line up to take out a home loan. Thank you for everything you guys have done for veterans across America.

I would definitely use VUMC again if I ever make another purchase. They kept their promises and were responsive when I had questions or just needed someone to hold my hand through the process! We made it to closing when my realtor thought we were going to be late due to the VA appraiser being three weeks behind schedule.
