Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone who’s reading this review, or anyone who asks is this company for real. If you decide to get a VA home loan with Veterans United, which you should. Make sure you ask for Aaron Guinn to be your loan officer. He is by far the best in the business. As a first-time home buyer, it can be daunting. Aaron was there every step of the way. No matter the question or time of day he was always available. He was more involved than my actual realtor. Not only that, but in 17 days was able to get closed on our house! I would never buy a house again without finding Aaron and making sure he was behind the wheel making it all happen again. I love the dashboard, which makes the process very user friendly and error proof! Additionally, you feel appreciated as a customer and not just another number/loan to process. There is a personal touch experienced with this transaction that I had not experienced before, and it was especially appreciated as a disabled vet. I highly recommend Veterans United!

Wonderful experience from beginning to end! I told my wife that I would "get the ball rolling" on March 1st (which was a Sunday) and I did. Within minutes of submitting my info, my phone was ringing. Within an hour of that, I was preapproved.
From then on, Madison, Brenda, & the team took our hands & led us down a very easy road to buying a home. 38 days later...we closed!
SO friendly & patient! These folks worked hard for us, and made what is usually a hard experience...very very easy. The day we closed, we received a package from UPS. A very nice gift with a very nice card congratulating us.

Overall, I had a great experience with my home loan team. They were responsive, professional, and helped guide me through the process smoothly. I always felt like they were available to answer questions and keep things moving forward.
The only issue I ran into was that it wasn’t clearly communicated until the day before closing that my significant other couldn’t be on the deed due to the loan requirements. That caused some last minute stress that could have been avoided with earlier with proper communication.
Aside from that, everything else was handled really well, and I appreciate the team’s support throughout the process.
