I am a difficult man to impress but James Walrod and Veteran United did just that. His professionalism and directness gave me a sense of ease throughout the process. Jeff Ousley started my process and he was outstanding. He was with me all the way to the end of me closing. I actually consider him as a friend. Taylor was outstanding as well she was professional and motivational even though the set backs from the underwriter...
Only one small quirk. The requirement for a water test chain of custody was not made clear. This forced us to repeat the water test multiple times. Expensive and inconvenient. This delayed closing by 4 days and cost me several hundred dollars extra. Please inform buyers that the water test must be both taken and transported by an uninterested third party.
Within minutes of requesting information online, we received a phone call that placed us with a team and Real Estate Agent in our area. For first-time home buyers, we were a little nervous about that. With that being said, we still had the opportunity to look into other agencies but none compared to Veterans United. The team we were placed with was Jeff Magsamen and his team at Veterans United and they were incredible. Our Real Estate Agent was Mike Bush and he was very knowledgable and had very flexible hours. Jeff and his team & Mike answered all of our questions we had via text/call with a pretty quick response. Jeff really helped the process feel easier and with that, we are very grateful! I don't know what we would have done without Jeff and his team at Veterans United to help us along the way and for hooking us up with such a great Real Estate Agent.
