I am a first time home buyer and knew absolutely nothing! When i was put into contact with Mr. Quint he was very helpful and informative about the process and what would be required of me and the timeline from applying for pre approval to closing. The process went very smooth and the portal made things very convenient to review and sign documents. I was able to communicate with Brad via email, phone and text which made things even better. Once i found the home placed an offer and started going through more processes i was introduced to Lizzie Marshall who i would like to say was just as amazing as brad super helpful and very professional. She walked me through the last parts of the process and ensured that i knew what was going on. They were competitive and helpful. Covered some of my cash to close but charged me a extra 1/2 percent interest to do it. Hopefully they keep their word and help me refinance for free.
Our experience was very, very positive. We were treated like we were their number one client...all the way. I would recommend using a realtor with lots of experience. There isn't anything unusual with a VA loan, but there were a few extra details. And, this is just a personal remark; some realtors have a negative attitude towards VA loans, saying they are difficult to work with. That is not so...…. I'd ask the realtor their opinion of VA and shy away from them if they were even a little negative. Thanks to VA, we got our wished for home!!
