Even with a few glitches because of some out of the normal circumstances on my part we were able to close within a few days of our target closing date. My loan team and the closing team were outstanding.
This Veterans United team was open and honest about all the financial costs and fees associated with home buying. My husband and I were always skeptical about any type of lending organization, but our experience with this VU office positively changed our view. Being a first time home buyer, it really helped to have someone walk us through every step of the process. Jess took the time to explain each page of the loan application and disclosures, and Michelle gave us tips on loan payments. We’re now more educated on home loans. We’re definitely not experts, so it’s comforting to know that we can give VU a call in case we have questions in the future.

Do not use this company WARNING WARNING WARNING.....The home buying process is complicated we expect this but the level of incompetence of the employees of this company will make your head spin right off your body. I closed a whole month late due to employee misconduct...FYI WARNING WARNING WARNING

Veterans United has great people to work with throughout refinancing or purchasing a home. Steven and Kim I just can’t thank them enough. Both were so informative and kind. They held my hand throughout this process and I look at them now as family. Kim was so patient with me getting all my payoff statements and correct balances. When I got frustrated she never did. They are always there for you and they made me feel like I matter. Can’t thank them enough for seeing me through this process. My only sadness is they won’t be keeping my loan it will be sold off to some mortgage company. I wanted my loan to stay with United Veterans because I see them as family now but I do understand that is just how it works.
Very poor with communications, expected alot better, would not recommend.
