I highly recommended V.U. to any veteran. The entire team truly cared and showed great concern that we understood the process, and we received the best rate possible. Thank you Veterans United
To all of you women & men of the military. . . If you came across Veterans United purely by chance, tell your family & friends to rub the top of your head for good luck. You don't even know it yet, (and neither did I), but you just had a very good day.
Does this come a little close describing what's been banging around in your head for awhile? You've been watching and waiting, watching and waiting. You know you would like to be a homeowner so you can finally stop looking in from the outside while it seems everyone else is playing that equity game.
You want to own your own place but shoot, it's so expensive and so complicated it looks like a huge mountain you don't believe you can climb, or even fly over. Besides, you think if you make a move and screw things up, you're going to be in a world of hurt. So you think, for now, you're going to make a real comitment and actualy do some watching and waiting. You aren't happy about that decision because you want something more for your family so it's back to the internet. The pressure builds when you attempt any actual purchase moves. You think you should slow down from not making any moves to not even thinking about making a move. You want a house so much that you say to yourself, Okay, I'm making moves, see, I'm reading the real estate section of the newspaper. Next, its on-line to see whats happening with the market. Oh well, looks like I missed the bottom of the interest rate dive. Might as well stop all this effort.
If you put a veteran who wants a home, on a computer terminal, its a long shot but they may look up search word(s) like veterans or home loans, that kind of stuff. By chance, you may come across the Veterans United Home Loans web site. As mentioned above, if you do, you just had a very good day and don't even know it yet, but you will.
These VU people know exactly what steps you need to take. They better, they have locations in multiple states and I heard that one of their offices handles over 3,000 veteran loans per month. (Sidenote: If my friends had all of their fingers and toes, 150 of them would have to take their shoes off in order for the group to count to 3,000).
Wrap your head around this - VU is on your side, they fight your battles and run interference and thenbit by bit, you start having that old feeling of safety again. Wow, didn't see that coming huh? You aren't walking in the dark by yourself, but you could be if you had all this time to obtain a document requested by say, an Underwriter, through VU and you're still in the process of putting your shoes back on, an eclipse isn't unthinkable. Inj other words, you have to do your part in the cooperation department. You want to go to the next step right? That could be sitting at the escrow table thinking how sick and tired you are of signing your stupid name. You didn't realize until now the joke Mom & Dad played on you at birth by naming you
"Sign Here". Finally it happens, you have just joined the self-flagellating ranks of the Property Tax Payers Club which meets on the 13th of every month to play bingo at the Howard Jarvice Church of the Immaculate Exemption.
Okay I admit, this whole story was a bit cheesy, so get yourself some crackers.
However, putting the kidding aside, I'm telling you the Veterans United personnel have your back. They do run interference if required and they will stand up for your interests. They will point out any bumps in the road and help you every step of the way to home ownership. If you still worry that you might make a wrong turn somewhere in the process, you haven't been paying attention. It really was a very good day for me when I selected VU to handle my loan processing as well as dealing with the many personalities along the way as my loan administrator and tour guide. FYI. . . my home actually closed escrow 11 days ago which would not have occurred without the extensive amount of experience they brought to the table.
My sincere gratitude to the two gentlemen who personally made this home purchase possible.

Veterans United really helped make a difference in my life. They are very knowledgable, very patient and understanding. Any one looking for a loan company should definitely use VU and their services. I will be recommending them to all in need of a home loan.
It's great to find a company that really cares about people. who tell you that they will be there to help you through the whole loan process and back that statement up by actually doing exactly what they said they would do
If you are debating on a company to help you buy your dream home make Veterans United that company. I can even tell you how happy I am to have made the choice to go with Veterans United. They treat you like you matter and help you through the entire process. Everyone that I have talked to at VU were very nice. It is nice to know that there is a company out there that treats like that now a days.

Zoe is AWESOME!! She's welcoming, straight up and not hesitant to stand in your corner when things go awry. She knows her job well, especially the numbers and when buying something as huge as a home, that matters a lot. When time comes to make the right decision she is someone you would want in your corner.
Can't say enough about the excellent service I received! Even our Real Estate agent was impressed with working with this awesome lender and the TEAM that made it all happen. If I had a question they were quick to respond, knowledgeable and so helpful. I would recommend any veteran looking for a home to give Veterans United Home Loans a call. Very professional, courteous and on top of everything. Made the process absoutely painless. So happy and blessed I found and utilized the service. Thank you so very much.
This was a great company to work with. I could not believe how smoothly everything went. The title company was very impressed how quickly the closing was completed and all funds were transferred very quickly.
I would recommend Veterans United They Know there business
Veterans United was the best choice we could have ever made when purchasing our first home. They were there for us through everything and made the process very easy!
Becky Holcomb is superb!!I She will continue to get my business. I will recommend her to everyone I know and meet.
Veterans United staff and affiliated real estate partners exceeded my expectations. Never would I have asked for a better group of associates who put so much work into allowing my family buy the house we wanted. The Lighthouse program with Charlie Holubeck was fantastic! He taught me a great deal concerning how to improve my credit score in order to qualify for a home loan. Charlie will tell how it is about debt collectors and how to "take care of business" with them. If it wasn't for Charlie, I would not be writing this great review now. Being partnered with Josh Schultz as my loan officer was a great experience! Very professional! A HUGE thank you the Cold-well Banker real estate agent, Kathy Jardin, who went well above and beyond with everything she did to make sure our buying experience was wonderful. We dealt with a very uncooperative seller towards the end of the scheduled closing. Kathy is the model real estate agent that everyone deserves to have on their side! And because of our wonderful experience with Veterans United, we referred my wife's sister and brother- in- law to Veterans United and they are now in the process of buying a home as well! In closing, a great company to have done business with and will definitely continue to recommend to all! Thanks so very much! 5 stars!!!!!
I honestly cannot think of even one negative thing to say about our overall experience with Veterans United and to me that is unheard of in this day and age. Everything was very organized, communication was outstanding and the Realtor that was assigned to us was amazingly good at what she did. As a Veteran I would like to thank everyone at Veterans United for your wonderful service to each one of us. It is greatly appreciated!
Overall my experience with this service was not a good one. There was no communication between myself, the lender, nor the title company on what was going on. I had to find out for myself. No one wanted to take the responsibility for the service I received but everyone that provide this service wanted to get paid. I just hope and wish that other veterans don't get the same treatment as I did. I just felt like my service to this country was just money to someone's pocket and not the value of my commitment to the our country.
