I gave a netpromoter score of 7 as my overall experience was a bit frustrating. Dan and Bri were the 10 in my rating but the underwriting process was painful. Some of the requests or pushbacks we had from underwriting seemed more like a process to not give me a loan than to help me secure a loan. I was a very well qualified buyer and some of the hoops requested to jump through made me feel more like a less than qualified buyer. Thank goodness for Dan and Bri talking me off the proverbial ledge a few times as at some points I felt like stopping the process and pulling out of my offer to purchase the property.

Veterans United and expecially Chris Holdman made our first home buying experience stress free and positive all the way through. We were informed of the step by step process and had daily communication with Mr. Holdman. He was always upbeat and positive. He was not put out with our many questions and phone calls. If we did go to his voice mail, he responded back to us quickly. Mr. Holdman informed us of what to expect and when to expect it. We did not ever feel out of touch with what was going on. I would highly recommend all veterans to work with Veterans United in securing a VA loan. This is a company that truly does everything possible to make the process smooth with the ultimate goal being the veteran gets the home loan they need. In particular my loan officer, Joel Grisamore, was a true advocate for me in the process. When hurdles were presented he made sure we jumped over them when a lessor loan officers would have moved on. The compassion and dedication he displayed during the process was a breathe of fresh air for me as other loans from different institutions made me feel like a number. With Joel I was treated like family.

Terry and his team are excellent. If you need anything, they will respond quickly. I would recommend them to veterans looking to buy a home. They also have a program for veterans that do not meet the credit score minimum. They can run simulations that explain exactly what you need to pay to lower you balances which in turn will raise your scores.

It was a great experience and Heidi Bailey was an amazing loan officer, she was very helpful and knew what she was talking about.
It is always difficult and daunting to work through the process of refinancing a home. Marlon and his team helps to make the process easy. They are transparent in explaining the process, the website is set up in such a way that it is easy to get all the documents to the team quickly. They answer the phone immediately, or get back to you as soon as possible and there are no false expectations.
