This was my second time working with Veterans United through a home buying process. The second experience was even better than the first and I will be choosing Veterans United if it ever comes time for a third home buying process.The terms are competitive the user interface for submitting documentation is streamlined, easy, and convenient, and the representatives, namely Charlotte McLellan, are helpful, available, and supportive. Ms. McLellan traded emails with me in the middle of the night while I was overwhelmed preparing for a deployment and buying a home for my family at the same time. I did not have much free time during the day and she was guiding me through challenges during her off hours.My experience with Veterans United was really perfect. I do not hand out praise like that lightly. The financial aspect of buying a home is the most daunting but after it was all said and done, Veterans United and Ms. McLellan, made the financial aspect probably the easiest and least stressful component of our move. I would recommend them to my closest friends and family, and I am recommending them to anyone out there looking for assurance that Veterans United is the right pick for your family.

Veterans United understands what a veteran is and there is no need in explaining yourself. They are not a company that takes advantage of veterans, but a company that ensures the veteran comes first. It was a huge relief when I didn't have to double check everything that was being asked of me, and another huge relief when I finally found a company that I can trust with not just my personal information, but my personal experiences. The hard work that they did for me deserved more than what was asked.
The beginning of the process was easy. It was after the appraisal and final inspections where all miscommunications laid. Should have closed 3 weeks prior to when we did but I feel like feet were drug purposely at a certain point just because tensions were high. I don't know that I would ever use this company again. But we are enjoying our home finally and thankful that it is all completed.

First all this is an honest opinion from a fellow Veteran. When I was received the advertisement from VU, I had no idea this would have been such a joyous outcome. On a whelm I responded and let me tell you, they do what they say they will do for Veterans. If you have your stuff together or need a little assistance in cleaning up your credit report, they are there for you. Joel and his team were and outstanding group to work with. They were always very informative and always responded promptly when I had questions. Everything was explained and they encouraged me to ask questions and to contact them even when I was nervous about the process. Again, kudos to Veteran's United and a huge THANK YOU to Joel Gigler and his team!!!!!
As a first time home buyer and hearing story, after story of how purchasing a home is a long process or has many bumps in the road, I expected a somewhat stressful experience. Working with Veterans United and my assigned Real Estate Agent, it felt like a normal, everyday transaction. From start to finish every discussion, document submission and signature was so incredibly smooth. I couldn't have asked for a better first time home buying experience.
In addition to the people mentioned before, Justis Kemp and Zane Hildreth we're also critically important and reliable throughout the process. They continued business throughout a busy holiday period and provided us with the greatest piece of mind during the times where Anna was not available or on another call. I had the pleasure of working with Karol Hart, Toni and Beth. All three do an exceptional job. I ask a lot of questions and they answered everyone quickly and friendly. From the first day I talked with Karol she starting guiding me. I had spoke to a few other banks that pushed me away. Karol told me exactly what I needed to do and within 2 months I was pre-approved. It took me more than a year to pick my house but she didn't push or give up on me. Every-time I called she was friendly and helpful. I would not change anything. These ladies are incredible and I will send my children and everyone else I know!
Ross and Gavin were great throughout the entire home buying process. I cannot express the full scope of help that they gave, all I can say is that they both were great.
