I would encourage every vet to purchase their home via Veterans United. From start to finish, they lead you step by step and make sure that you are comfortable and informed with the process of home buying. As a first time buyer, I was never worried about what to do or what came next. In addition to being attentive to my needs, they made sure that the house I purchased was sound and that all my paperwork was in order for underwriting. Cherry on the cake was how expeditiously the homebuying process was completed. Love these people!
Again, I cannot reiterate what a smooth process it was working with Veterans United. In saying that, aid acknowledge that there was a tremendous amount of work going on behind the scenes, but that’s what makes them so great! They are experts and they keep things moving along smoothly and efficiently. While everyone was fantastic, I have to give special recognition to Tim Overshiner for countless hours he worked on our loan, advocated on our behalf, and kept me informed (and sane) throughout the process. The process is long and can be a bit unnerving. There are a lot of documents to gather and upload but is manageable with patience. The loan officers asked for documents up to the end so keep up with emails and texts so you don’t miss anything.
I will never use Veteran's United again, and I will encourage my friends and family to seek loans elsewhere. I was spoken to very rudely on the phone and not helped on multiple occasions by my loan officer, and when I called and asked to speak to a supervisor to try to resolve the situation, they were rude to me as well. I am very disappointed in my experience with Veteran's United, especially after reading a lot of very positive reviews before selecting them to get my home loan.

Your professionals are extremely detailed oriented! They worked hard on my loan and even after we passed papers they still wanted me to sign one last document! they were all a pleasure to deal with and their professionalism under any circumstance or pressure never changed! They took the time to explain what and why what they needed from me.The one comment is not negative but they asked for documents that I submitted before and they had on file,Even the documents I signed and submitted to them..
