Mr. Miller was a very patient individual throughout the process. As a veteran with anxiety issues, he was very thorough when it came to responding to my text no matter what time it may have been. Just a couple hiccups in miscommunication... But ultimately the very professional loan officer.
My overall experience with VU has been great. I was pre-approved even with forced bankruptcy less than 4 years ago, due to military disabilities. The loan process went smoothly, the team was very patient with me despite focusing on health issues and doctor appointments, and were very cheerful and helpful. However, I am disappointed that after only few weeks of closing, my loan was already sold to another lender. (you may want to address this with your loan officer).🤔Because of Merry (my loan officer), her team and VU, Trigger and I have stability 👍😊😍 as we moved 4 times in less than 4 years ☹️. I had a very unique process to navigate(Navy Veteran) which started 5 years earlier with a so-called competitor of Veterans United. They let me down as did another competitor 5 years later because they don't have the personnel who want to go that extra mile in order to help the veteran. I found those people at Veterans United. They listen and then they act. Many people promised me the world when I was looking for a VA mortgage and failed because there was more talk(about their accomplishments) than there was action.I placed my faith in the personnel at Veterans United and they delivered. Would I recommend Veterans United I already have to my son-in- law. I'm sure they'll do right by him as they have done for me.
