Seemed a little crazy to complete repairs to my house before the loan was funded when that was he sole purpose of refinancing. That was the requirement of the VA. The process of qualifying to buy a home using a VA loan is not easy. The VA is very demanding and potential buyers must prove their credibility through a very rigorous and thorough process before the VA will guarantee a home loan in their behalf, especially with no money down. Veterans United is of remarkable help in this regard. Through many years of helping veterans to buy homes, they have learned what the VA requires, and have become experts in this field. Thus, many veterans including myself have benefitted from their knowledge and expertise. My experience with them, although taxing, was very rewarding in the end, because my wife and I were able to purchase a house that we really love, all with no money down. So I encourage any veteran that is in the market to buy a house to contact Veterans United. Believe me, you won't be sorry!
Only negative thing I will say is not about veterans United. Just know if your house is owned by Freddy Mac your in for a long hard and stressful ride getting your home. It was so aggravating even Nate and mark has to make some phone calls cause they were stressing them out. They would say there not gunna fix something take 2 weeks to then say they would fix it. Happened twice causing us to close almost a whole month late. Nate and mark handled it great though. Will use them in the future.
Our loan officers, Bill Bales and Allie Leiva, were extremely knowledgeable and professional during all phases of the loan process. We always knew exactly what information was needed from us and where to find it. Bill and Allie kept us and the loan process on track and made sure that everything moved forward in a timely manner.
