The military prides itself on professionalism and service - having a job to do and doing it better than anyone else for a greater purpose. But when we look back on our time in it, little is more important or impactful than the people and the bonds built between them. Working with my team was an encapsulation of this. I was so nervous to buy a house because I was worried about being taken advantage of, but my team helped to ease those worries and I can’t thank them enough for all of the help they gave me. They were willing to work with my schedule that had extremely limited availability for phone calls, but everyone was incredibly patient, professional, and willing to work with me.
These folks were quite exemplary. Carmaker was helpful when I had need of her help. Carson Brown did most of the footwork along with myself and things couldn’t have gone smoother. To put it in perspective, we managed to close a V.A. Homeloan a week and a half earlier than expected! Great work!

Everything was fantastic. My only complaint is when they tried to sell me stuff for the house like home security. Aside from that, I really appreciated the level of communication and competence.
My experience with Veterans United was simply amazing. My loan officer Jake and my real estate agent Kristen were the perfect people to work with. Both of them had put so much time and effort to ensure a sucessful purchase and move into my new home. I was delightfully supprised when both Jake and Kristen went out of their way to accomadate me even though I was 4000+ miles away. Even when I was getting worried, Jake did everything he could to help ease my nerves and assure me that we were doing good. Kristen did so much to assure I would find a place to live as to even drive 3 hours across state to meet me t look at homes. The service and experience with Veteran United was so good that for any future home purchases I will make, I will use Veterans United home loans.

I would highly recommend Veterans United for those seeking to purchase a home using their VA benefits!!! The entire process was so easy and communication was outstanding, from the first day of inquiring about a loan to the day I closed on my new home. Casey and Liz communicated through email, text and personal phone calls with me, guiding me every step of the way. The handy-dandy "To do List" in the portal was very helpful as well and kept me on track as to what I needed to accomplish. It would be helpful to know which third party companies VU works with. I was receiving a lot of emails from multiple people since we didn’t select a loan company right away and some loan companies use the same title company. So it was very confusing and at some point I deleted emails that were needing action by VU, thinking they were from the other loan company.
For some people, buying a home can be an intimidating experience.
