I appreciate the speed, efficiency, and friendliness of the loan officer and staff. My only concern is that there were one or two forms that came up as urgent that I wish I knew about earlier. On the other hand, these issues were resolved quickly and within the deadline, so I am grateful.

My agent Bo Clapp was absolutely wonderful. But the underwriters were the most ridiculous people I have ever worked with. I have refinanced homes at least 12 times in my life and never, and I mean NEVER, have I had to submit so much personal documentation in my life for a refi. I have 40 years of mortgage paying without ever a late payment, I have a credit rating of over 800, my home was worth $300K more than I was borrowing, and still every day the underwriters were prying for more information to the point that several times I almost said 'F**K YOU' and walked away. If I had never refinanced a home before I might assume every company is the same. But with my experience, I know full well that your underwriters are a bunch of guys so scared of giving a loan to someone who might default later that they are willing to absolutely drive a highly qualified borrower crazy.
