I had an option to switch lenders in order to get a $7,500 grant but I turned it down and stuck with Veterans United; y'all helped me with my credit repair twice and it worked substantially, everything was easy and seamless, and I could tell I wasn't just a customer, but a fellow brother in arms and a part of the family. Veterans United has always been my go-to financial institution for my home buying needs. I have used Veterans United four times and without fail they deliver outstanding services. Even though there was tough competition with competitive rates my loyalty to Rett Thompson and his outstanding team kept me with Veterans United.
I will start off by saying that when I initially submitted my request for a VA loan, I was shopping hard because of my short window of time. Veteran's United, Zach Nelson reached out to me and we immediately clicked like we were the best of friends. He was genuine and 10000% kept to his word when he said he would have absolutely ZERO problems securing us a home...man did he keep to thay word!I made the mistake of initially choosing to go forward with Rocket Mortgage and this decision was one I truly regretted when we got closer to closing. Ultimately, a week and a half before closing, I reached out to Zach and told Rocket Mortgage I no longer wanted to work with them and IMMEDIATELY requested they send everything back to Zach and his team. One person particularly named Britney George jumped into action when she received my email requesting that they'd work with me again. I was beyond grateful when they welcomed my wife and I back with open arms.Needless to say, they were able to secure EVERYTHING we needed which enabled us to close on our new home within that week and a half. Here we are today, 21 December 2024, moved into our home that we closed on the day prior.I cannot thank Zach, his team, and Veteran's United enough for their phenomenal customer service, professionalism, and most importantly sticking to their word when we were told "we will help you close on a home without a doubt in my mind".
