Overall a good experience but I thought communication could have been better. Before the purchase contract, communication was great, but after, communication was not as efficient. Process of online document upload and website ease and accessibility was fantastic, but person to person communication can be improved on an individual basis. I want questions answered quickly and Anna didn't always get back to me in a timely manner. Other than that she was very professional, knowledgable and polite. Her colleague Luke Whaley was usually great in helping out with the communication so it worked out just fine. In Anna's defense I believe she was on vacation during a period of time as well.

They were terrific. We sent all our information from home. The loan was completed in a timely manner. It took about 2 and 1/2 months to complete our loan. We did not even have to leave home to close. They sent a Notary to our house to close.

Excellent customer service

The initial questioning was a little short sided regarding our home loan and how my business and property would affect the loan for my husband. Additionally we were not told until that my husband would need to be at the closing with a 1 week suspense. This was unfortunate as my husband was on vacation the week I closed. I think a check list of information specifically for IL sent to borrowers would be helpful. Easier to know specifically what IL will require when we are dealing with a sale, a purchase and a divorce brewing in the middle. Luckily the information underwriters needed was readily available for Kevin and Jackie to forward to underwriters. The POA for my husband was a bit of a disaster but all went smoothly in the end.
