You guys are amazing. One of the best loan experiences ever. Keep doing what you're doing.
Michael and Bryce were the two people that we dealt with directly. Both of these individuals were incredibly professional, and at the same time went beyond professional to a more personal method of dealing with us. My wife and I felt that these guys handled our loan just as if it were there own. I do not know what VU's training and promotion path is, but whatever positions with VU that is above where they are now, should be very seriously considered. We will surely recommend VU to every vet that we come across and we will always be grateful for helping us on a loan to buy a dream.
Awesome experience, thank you!
Please applaud your colleagues Derek and Stephanie for their efforts and commitment to customer satisfaction.

I would definitely recommend United Veterans to any of my veteran friends looking to purchase a house.
Scheduled to originally close on 6/1 which was a Monday, on Friday at 5pm they were asking for receipts on a water test that had been conducted 3 weeks earlier and results sent. Didn't close on Monday...On Tuesday they were still asking for statements of documents that were sent in at the very beginning. I really don't think that the underwriting process ever cared that the loan was closed on time or not or they would have gotten everything they wanted in time to make closing happen on time.
.you guys were awesome I would highly recommend anyone to your firm god bless you guys take care
Experience was wonderful. Very thankful
I am very happy that Veterans United helped me get a loan when no other bank would help. Thank you so much for the help and everyone that was involved.
We ended up closing almost a week later than agreed in the contract, due to the loan officers needing more required documents every few days. It was my understanding Veterans United only dealt with VA home loans so I expected them to know the required documents to complete the loan on time. No one contacted me to tell me the time set to meet at the title office for closing. Then once I arrived at the title office to sign the closing paperwork the origination cost was twice the amount we agreed on and the Interest rate was not correct. Mr. Newberry did try and make up for the mistakes by getting rid of the origination cost altogether but this really didn't help me it just lowered the closing cost for the seller. Although the gentlemen I spoke with over the loan process were very friendly, they also seemed overwhelmed and a bit unprepared. I regret not working with a local bank where maybe they would have valued me as a customer.
They did the best they could given the situation.
The overall exprenice from when we first looked into Veterans United Home Loans, and Derek Russell making contact us, and connecting uswith our Real Estate Agent Alicia Moore was an unbelievable stress Free, expeieitious experence.. The team work between Derek, Alicia and Stefanie was like a well oiled machine. We would recommend this professional team to anyone we encountered who is a Veteran looking for a home mortage or refince.
Thank You for making our home buying a most pleasent experince.
