My experience working with Monica Johnson and Christopher Stieffermann during the final days of closing was frustrating due to their lack of responsiveness. They rarely answered calls, leaving the attorneys and me to repeatedly email their team in pursuit of necessary documents. Had I not been in my early 20s and adept at document sharing and email communication, I doubt the closing would have been completed within the timeline set by the previous homeowners. On multiple occasions, I had to step in to forward or re-share documents with the attorneys and realtor to ensure everyone had the information they needed. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Veterans United to any Veteran searching for a home.
Everyone was great! I wish I could give higher than a 10/10. Made the home buying process much easier than it probably is for most people. I’m glad I had such a great team that helped me out with all the many questions I had as a first time homebuyer.
What more could I say about Veterans United? There isn’t any distinction in there office, they are loyal, courteous, and very impressive in their work. Recommending promotion for anyone in Veterans United would be useless, they are all at the top of their field. It was a pleasure working with each of them.

I had been working hard on increasing credit and still felt that being a homeowner was going to be impossible. We had even downsized to a small trailer to help save money but then our youngest son ended up having to stay at his grandfather's house. This was my second time using Veterans United for home buying and of there's a third time in the area I will for sure use Veteran's United again
Honestly, I started this process extremely sceptically. I've always been taught - and learned - that no one has your best interest at heart like you do. I haven't changed my mind on that, but it's softened a little considering the effort the teams at veterans united and the realtor's they recommended were willing to go for me

I never heard of Veterans United but I'm glad I learned about them at a time when so much was going wrong in my life. I had a rough permanent change of station move from Germany but working with Tyler and his team made buying a home a reality. I've learned a lot and have already recommended VU to other Service Member thinking about buying their first home. One of the best features is the To Do List and videos explaining the documents I needed to sign. I also did some research on my home but they these features on the app was definitely needed to put one's mind at ease
Maybe its common sense, it would be helpful to new homeowners if there was a checklist for turning over utilities so that way there is no lapse.
