The fact that I was able to switch realtors. One that was able to work with me was very helpful. Having another person to contact was confusing. The second one never answered phone call. Except once....
Everything was manageable until closing came nearer. The loan officer started to blame everyone else for her teams issues. We were given a closing time and date, and then told that it was cancelled due to them not talking with the seller and forgetting to schedule another inspection to confirm that repairs were done. And on top of that after we were cleared from underwriting they come back to us saying they are missing documents that they already received weeks beforehand. Not to mention that if we or our real estate agent wanted any information we had to pull it from anyone that we could even get on the phone. This was a horrible first experience and I will never again use Veterans United again. I cannot wait to find out what else they screwed up as we continue to deal with them in the future. I have so much more to say about the horrible service but I think you know how it's going to go.
Veterans United Home Loans associates were very knowledgeable about the loan processing process. If I had any questions about anything they would not hesitate to answer them. Very understanding when it came to putting off my closing date due to a death in the family. If I am going to purchase another home this would be the first place I would go to get my loan this would be the place.

There has to be better personal contact during the process. Electronic mail and text messages are ok sometimes; but, sometimes there has to be better personal correspondence!
