I went through a lot trying to get this loan. I was at the point to where I almost gave up hope. This was the home I wanted and Veterans United made it happen.
Horrible communication during underwriting process. Waited until the day before closing to find out inspections weren't done and pushed my closing back twice! Tried to charge me for a septic inspection that wasn't done. If I wouldn't have brought it up I would have been out 700 dollars. My closing disclosure numbers changed 4 times in one day because the team I worked with can't seem to get together! I was refunded my appraisal fee which was nice but doesn't make up for them almost ripping me off. I can't imagine how many people didn't notice the mistake that was made with me and was charged hundred of dollars.
