All I can say is WOW! What an experience!!! From start to finish I closed on a home in a months time! Everyone on the team were so wonderful and a pleasure to work with during such a pivotal time in my life. Thanks to Veterans United, THA Realty, and local Vet organization Helping Heroes… I went from being a homeless disabled Combat Veteran to now owning my forever home with my wife and new baby ( due 3 wks from closing).
It is of my personal opinion that if you’re a Veteran, give VU a call. You earned that VA Home Loan and thes guys will help you see it through to the end. They WILL put you into your forever home. No matter your financial situation or background, if you served your Country Honorably, VU will work with you. They help you build your credit. They help with the entire process and take a lot of worry off your shoulders. I’m proud to say I’m a Veteran Homeowner thanks to Veterans United. I don’t know of any other financial institutions that will work as hard for you to buy a home as VU does. Even my personal bank wouldn’t do the things this amazing team did for me.
Please don’t get tossed on the street in today’s economy. You earned this benefit from the Government. Use it! Call Veterans United today and do like I did!!!

This was a deal that should have gone a lot smoother than it did and I am sure that if the officer was in the state they would have had a better understanding of what was required. I felt excluded from the deal until I made the call to be made aware of every movement. It took so long that I had to submit my information twice. Information about the house wasn’t fully recovered and we found out about it as we were seated to sign paperwork, of a detail that we may need legal advice about later. In the end the taxes were left out at closing and not applied to escrow, which we will need to take care of soon. The disclosure was submitted three times as a Final Cut.
This is the second time I have used a “Veterans” mortgage service and the first one broke the law so many times I am still paying for the mistake. I almost expect to be treated similarly within three months. It is similar to getting a degree from ITT, except you get to fight to keep actual property. Freedom mortgage is just as bad but run from them.

This was my first home purchase. Using VU was fantastic and I would recommend to all Veteran home buyers to use VU.

Withheld personal property in the form of VA appraisal and refused to surrender it upon request. Lied about VA appraisal MPR. Forced needless repairs. Lacked basic construction knowledge. Setup a closing time at their convenience without consulting client or considering client's work schedule.Dishonest and inconsiderate are the two words I feel best describe VUs overall approach. Will definitely be passing this on to the VFW and American Legion presidents.
