Great friendly and knowlegeable
What we presumed would have been a long and complicated process (in purchasing our first house), things went very smooth. Communication was great and we always had paper work and answers to questions received in a very timely manner.
VUHL honestly is the way to go when it comes to getting a Loan. The biggest reason I say this is because with my credit history I never would've imagined I would get a lower interest rate. But huge thanks to the VU. I ended up with just a little over 4% intrest rate.
Working with Shannon was such a pleasant experience & it didn't matter how many questions I had, she always was patient & kind.
All my questions and concerns were answered. The process was almost flawless... way above my expectations.

They did a good job. I am pleased. My only frustration was having to sending the transaction assistant the same form multiple times. I think a person would look through their stack of documents before requesting them again and again. I sent Form 4506 on 3 separate occasions and then still had to sign another at closing.
Ryan and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. He was prompt with his responses and you can tell that he really cares.
Excellent experience, amazing team!

Veterans United provided mostly acceptable support during this process. With the few memorable exceptions being:1. Initially I had thought that I would be buying a home in Salem New Hampshire, and had submitted my application accordingly. Then when I informed VU that I wanted to buy in Methuen Massachusetts I received an email late that Friday evening which simply stated that my loan request had been withdrawn or denied. I could not reach anyone at VU and spent the rest of the weekend agonizing about why this had happened.2. The day before my 3rd closing date I was contacted by loan assistant Morgue Skipworth shortly before 3PM and she informed me that due to an oversight on her behalf that we would not be able to close unless i provided her an updated Employment Verification file and password. I explained to her that I was on vacation and hours away from my workplace, she enlightened me that we could not close without it, which required me to travel 2.5 hours in the driving rain to go into my work location and perform this task.
Because we backed out on our first house because of inspection issues the paper work became very confusing and complicated. I was not sure what I had signed and not signed.
