Veterans United are for the Vets of the US of A. Great job leads to great experiences.

Had trouble getting the correct closing cost was told three different numbers delayed my closing by a week and a half caused me to only be able to go home to Iowa to get the house ready to sell for five days ended up costing me money my first payments due August 1 and it’s gonna be hard to make it Thank you for messing everything up
Response from Veterans United
Hi Janelle,
I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the closing costs and the delays. It's incredibly frustrating to receive different information and have your plans thrown off like that. I understand how this has caused you significant inconvenience and additional costs.
It sounds like our communication and process didn't meet your expectations, and for that, I sincerely apologize. I want to look into what happened and see how we can help. Could you please reach out to my team directly at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com? We're in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, but feel free to contact us anytime.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re here to help and ensure better experiences in the future.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager

United Veterans are the best.

At first I was a little skeptical about going with a National lender instead of a local one, but I’m glad I did. They treat you like a hometown lender and take the time to get to know you first. The home buying process was easy using their app and all of the employees were very professional and friendly. If you are on the fence while shopping for a lender I can tell you that you can’t go wrong with Veterans United.

Veterans United was wonderful.
The only concerns we have/had are
1) The Friday before we closed (Closed at 0900 EST on Monday) I received a text at 1700 stating my wife’s employment verification needed to be completed by having her boss call a woman named Agatha. Agatha was out of the office by the time I’d received the text which then caused my wife and I to panic as to whether or not we would be able to close on time. That said, Jerry called me the next day and was able to put my mind at ease.2) To a much lesser and comical extent, the gift box for the home purchase that was intended for my wife and I only had male oriented items in it. They’re appreciated it just seemed humorous that it was intended for the two of us.

Veterans united was so professional and committed to putting me in a home, as a United States Army Veteran I really feel loved and adored by Veterans United, they are the cream of the crop as it relates to home choosing, home inspection, home loan, and finally home closing, thank you so much Veterans United.

10/10 help from everyone! Thank you!

very easy process

I highly recommend Veterans United group. The loan department, insurance and the whole staff there were incredibly efficient and totally responsive to our needs.

Although Katie was nice in e-mail correspondence, but among her, Matt, Laura Schwalenberg, and even somebody else initially, I felt there was uneccessary and even confusing redundancy.
