VU was professional, helpful, and didn't try sneaky crap that so many others in this industry try to pull. Can't tell you how much that means to us. We will recommend VU to others.

Very Easy
Everyone we dealt with gave exceptional customer support and service. From beginning to closing, VU was on top of everything.
I would recommend that a specific list from the underwriter as soon as possible as that part of the process was very frustrating to say the least. I understand it is a process, however, I feel I could have closed on my first closing date if I had a specific list to submit the first time it was submitted to the underwriter. I submitted my last document requested by the underwriter just hours prior to the expiration of my credit. If it weren't for my loan officer I would have probably had to start the whole process again. I felt some of the requests from the underwriter was very personal and had nothing to do with the approval of my loan. I did close on my home needless to say, however, like I had said I would have closed on my first closing date not on my 4th had I received a specific and timely doc list from the underwriter instead of a piece at a time. Kudos to my loan officer for pulling me through the process.
Rylan Maddox and crew were right on top of any questions I had. Can't say enough about how helpful they were.
Things went okay overall, although there were some bumps in the road, especially towards closing time that I feel were probably avoidable. I probably would not recommend Veterans United to anyone in the future for those reasons.
Every time I had a question, they were very good about getting back to me as soon as possible with an answer.
